Why we built Spend Sense.
Financial tools were built for people who already have money. Everyone else was handed apps and told to figure it out. We're changing that.
Where it started
This started from watching people close to me struggle financially — not because they didn't work hard, but because nobody ever gave them the right tools or a real plan. Financial failure isn't always about bad decisions. Sometimes it's just about never having been shown a better way.
Then came the smaller frustrations that added up. Going out with friends and watching a simple dinner turn into a 20-minute ordeal over who owes what. Traveling somewhere new and pulling out the wrong credit card — the one that earns 1x points instead of 4x — because the app had no idea which of my cards would've actually earned more there, and nobody told me. Small moments. Real money left on the table.
Every time, the question was the same: why doesn't an app exist that handles all of this, in one place, without requiring you to hand over your bank login first?

Where we are now
Spend Sense is currently in TestFlight Beta. Core budgeting, expense tracking, bill splitting, and savings goals are working and free to use. Your financial data is never sold to advertisers or data brokers. We're improving the app ahead of the public App Store launch.
We're a small team moving fast. The app you try today is not the finished product — it's the honest foundation of one.
